Post Matric Scholarship for Students With Disabilities

  • Students with benchmark disability (40%) are eligible to apply. 
  • Students enrolled in LL.B, B.Ed or B.El.Ed programmes after completing B.A./B.Sc./B.E. or equivalent are eligible.
  • Students pursuing two courses simultaneously may avail the scholarship for only one course, subject to compliance with the rules of the concerned educational authority.
  • Students joining professional or technical certificate/diploma/degree courses after UG (pass or fail) are eligible.
  • Students pursuing studies through correspondence, distance or continuing education modes are also eligible.
  • Employed students are eligible for reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, subject to the prescribed income ceiling.

Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students

  • Must have scored 80 percentile in Class XII (10+2 or equivalent) in the relevant stream
  • Should be pursuing a regular degree course (diploma, distance, or correspondence courses are not eligible)
  • The course and institution must be recognized by AICTE or the relevant regulatory body
  • Applicants must not be availing any other scholarship/fee waiver scheme (including State schemes)
  • Gross parental/family income up to ₹4.5 lakh per annum; income certificate required for fresh applicants only
  • Change of college/institution is allowed if the course remains the same and the institution has a valid AISHE Code

PM-YASASVI: Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC/EBC/DNT

  • OBC/EBC/DNT students with annual family income up to ₹2.5 lakh and admission to a full-time course in a notified institution are eligible (subject to allotted slots)
  • If eligible applicants exceed slots, selection is based on inter-se merit; in case of a tie, lower family income gets preference.
  • If 1st-year eligible students are fewer than allotted slots, remaining slots may be given to 2nd/3rd/4th year students based on previous-year merit, with priority to students having more years left in the course
  • 30% slots are reserved for girl students; unfilled slots may be transferred to eligible boys
  • Girl students selected in overall merit are not counted within the 30% reserved quota
  • Maximum two siblings per family can avail the scheme (affidavit required)
  • Scholarship is discontinued if the student fails to get promoted to the next semester/class
  • Preference is given to OBC students under the scheme

AICTE – Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students ( Technical Degree)

  • Girl students must be admitted to 1st year of a degree course or 2nd year through lateral entry in an AICTE-approved institution
  • Maximum two girl children per family are eligible
  • Annual family income must not exceed ₹8 lakh; a valid State/UT income certificate is mandatory
  • The scholarship is restricted to a maximum of two students per family

AICTE – Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students ( Technical Diploma)

  • Girl students must be admitted to 1st year of a diploma course or 2nd year through lateral entry in an AICTE-approved institution

PM USP Special Scholarship Scheme for Jammu Kashmir And Ladakh

  • Applicant must be a domicile of the UTs of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh
  • Must have passed Class 12 from JKBOSE or CBSE-affiliated schools located in J&K/Ladakh
  • Annual family income should not exceed ₹8 lakh
  • For lateral entry, candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering from DTE-recognized polytechnics in J&K/Ladakh
  • Lateral entry admission is subject to seat availability in the relevant engineering stream

Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme for NER

  • Must have passed Class XII (or equivalent) from a school in the North Eastern Region (NER) through CBSE/ICSE/NIOS or a recognized board
  • Applicable only for UG degree programmes recognized by UGC
  • Students must be admitted in the 1st year of a UG course in an eligible institution in India
  • Scholarship is for the first UG degree only; candidates with any prior degree are not eligible

  • If eligible students exceed slots, selection is based on inter-se merit; in case of tie, lower family income gets preference. 
  • 30% slots reserved for SC girl students; unfilled slots may go to eligible boys (merit-based)
  • Maximum two siblings per family can avail the scheme (affidavit required)
  • Scholarship is discontinued on failure to get promoted; it resumes once the student is promoted
  • Change of institution after selection leads to discontinuation of the scholarship

INSPIRE Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)

  • Top 1% students in Class 12 board exams pursuing B.Sc./B.S./Integrated M.Sc./M.S. in natural and basic sciences
  • Top 10,000 rank in JEE Main/Advanced or NEET/AIPMT and enrolled in natural & basic science courses
  • Top 1% class 12 students admitted to Integrated M.Sc. at IISERs, NISER, DAE-CBS (Mumbai) or Visva-Bharati
  • KVPY scholars pursuing bachelor’s/master’s courses in natural sciences

  • Admission must be in a foreign university or institution accredited by the authorized body of that country
  • Applicants must have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination (bachelor’s for master’s, master’s for PhD)
  • The age of the applicant must not exceed 35 years as on 1st April of the selection year
  • Annual family income should not be more than ₹8 lakh, supported by an income certificate issued by a Tehsildar or above
