Osmania University admission is managed through different portals depending on the programme. Below is the step-by-step process for the main routes.
Osmania University Admission Process for PG Programmes: Through CPGET 2026
Step 1: Appear for CPGET 2026 (Common Post Graduate Entrance Test) conducted by Osmania University in online CBT mode.
Step 3: Register for CPGET counselling / web options at ouadmissions.com using your Hall Ticket Number and date of birth.
Step 4: Fill in your college and course preference order during the web options round.
Step 5: Check seat allotment result online. If allotted, pay the admission fee and report to the allotted college with original documents for verification.
Osmania University Admission Process for UG Programmes: Through TS DOST
Step 1: Register on the TS DOST portal using your Class 12 marks.
Step 3: Check allotment results and download the provisional allotment order.
Step 4: Report to the allotted college for document verification, pay the fee, and complete admission.
Osmania University Admission Process for Special Education Courses (Affiliated Institutions)
Step 1: Contact the respective institution directly (NIEPID, Thakur Hari Prasad Institute, Helen Kellers, AYJNISHD, AMS CTE, Sahara Institute, Swayamkrushi, Maa Institute, Padma Nayaka College, Ashray-Akruti, etc.) for the application form.
Step 2: Submit the completed application form along with self-attested copies of documents and proof of fee payment (online / DD) before the institution-specific deadline.
Step 3: Applications submitted at NIEPID Secunderabad: last date July 6, 2026 (July 15 with late fee) at niepid.nic.in and ouadmissions.com.
Step 4: Appear for the institution-level entrance test or merit-based selection process and confirm admission at the allotted college.
