About The Program

OP Jindal Engineer & Management Scholarships 2025 is an opportunity provided by the O.P. Jindal Group of Companies to meritorious students who have leadership qualities to become leaders in entrepreneurial excellence and innovation. Under this scholarship, a total of 100 students from 40-43 selected engineering and management institutions will be awarded a scholarship of up to ₹1,50,000 per student, every year. 


*O. P. Jindal Group of Companies was founded by Shri. O. P. Jindal in 1952. It is a private organisation with business interests spanning mining, power, industrial gases, seaport facilities and flagship steel manufacturing across the world.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 15-Sep-2026

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be the first three toppers from each year of the following engineering streams:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Metallurgical Engineering 

OR

  • be the first ten toppers from each year of management

Note:-
Students who have already received this scholarship, or those receiving any other scholarship, can also apply if they fulfil the eligibility criteria.

A total of 100 students from 40-43 premier institutes across India will receive the scholarship in the following manner:-

How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Click 'Register Now', fill in the required details, then click 'Sign up'. User ID and password will be sent to the provided email address.
Step 4: Use the proper ID and password to log in.
Step 5: Fill in the required information, upload the necessary documents, and submit the application.

Note: Eligible applicants can also register through the OPJEMS mobile app.

Application Deadline: 15th September 2026

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected by the following process:-

  • Phase 1 – Business Proposal: Submit an innovative and sustainable solution to an Indian problem by 15th September 2026.

  • Phase 2 – Online Test: Appear for tests assessing behavioural traits, leadership skills, and general awareness on 17th–18th September 2026.

  • Phase 3 – Interview: Shortlisted candidates will attend a virtual interview with an industry expert panel from 12th–16th October 2026.

  • Phase 4 – Final Results: Final scholars will be announced on 30th October 2026.

Question: What are the different types of scholarships?
Answer: The scholarships are of two types:

  • ₹1,50,000 for each (Management student)
  • ₹80,000 for each (Engineering student)

Question: How does OPJEMS identify students eligible for the scholarship?
Answer: There is a three-step process:

Step A: Students will be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria.
Step B: Eligible students will take an online test.   
Step C: Shortlisted students from Step B shall appear for a personal interview.

Question: How many students will be awarded?
Answer: 100 scholarships shall be awarded.
