The ‘LIFE’S GOOD’ Scholarship Program 2024, a wonderful CSR initiative of the LG Electronics India Private Limited, intends to extend financial support to academically meritorious students hailing from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This scholarship program caters to the requirements of students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs in designated institutions, offering financial support for one-year in order to help them achieve their educational aspirations.
This initiative reflects the ethos of Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 5 adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, focusing on promoting quality education and advancing gender equality. In alignment with Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013, the program prioritises eligible female candidates, fostering inclusivity and empowerment of women through education, and thereby championing the cause of socio-economic upliftment.
