- Applicants must be a domiciled student from the non-reserved categories in the state of Gujarat.
- They must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program in Medical, Technical, Dental, or Para-technical courses in a government or un-aided institution.
- Applicants must reside in the hostel affiliated with the same government or un-aided institution.
- Female students pursuing studies in Class 9 to 12 and residing in hostels managed by any society/trust/institution are also eligible for this scholarship.
- The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed ₹4,50,000.
- Hostels/students already receiving some kind of grant support are not eligible.

Food Bill Scholarship 2025: How to Apply?
- First, open the official website www.gueedc.gujarat.gov.in. The homepage will appear as shown below. Click on the “SCHEMES” menu and select the scheme for which you want to apply.
- Once you select the scheme, details such as the nature of assistance, eligibility criteria, and required documents will be displayed. Carefully read the information before proceeding.
- Then, click on “Apply Now”.
- A new page will appear. If you are applying for the first time, click on “New User (Register)”.
- Click on “New Register”, and a new screen will appear.
- In the first field, enter your Email ID.
- In the second field, enter your Mobile Number.
- In the third field, enter your Password.
- In the fourth field, enter again and confirm your Password.
- Click on “Submit” to proceed.
- If the registration is successful, a confirmation message will be displayed.
- After successful registration, click on “Already Registered? Click Here for Login” option to log in.
- In the first field, enter your Mobile Number.
- In the second field, enter the Password that was created during registration.
- In the third field, enter the ‘Captcha Code’ displayed on the screen.
- Click on “Login” to proceed.
- After clicking on Login, a new screen will appear.
- Select the scheme you want to apply for.
- Click on “Apply Now” to proceed.
- Clicking on Apply Now will open the application form for the selected scheme.
- Fill in all the required details.
- Click on “Save and Upload Photo & Signature” to proceed.
- Clicking on Save and Upload Photo & Signature will open the next screen.
- Click on ‘Upload Photo’ and select your photo from your computer to upload it.
- Similarly, click on ‘Upload Signature’, select your signature, and upload it.
- After this, click on ‘Save Photo and Signature & Upload Document’ to proceed.
- You will see a list of required documents for uploading.
- Click on ‘Choose File’ to select the document from your computer.
- After selecting the required document files, they will be uploaded.
- Once all documents are uploaded, click on ‘Save’ to complete the process.
- Click on Save, and the next screen will appear. Here, you will see the details you provided while applying.
- Carefully review all the details.
- If the details are correct, click on ‘Confirm Application’.
- Once confirmed, your application will be finalised, and you will receive an ‘Application Confirmation Number’, which should be saved for future reference.
