The Colgate Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Program for BDS Course 2022-23 is a dental scholarship program offered under the Colgate Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme. 

It is one of the dental scholarships available in India. It aims to offer essential support to deserving and talented individuals who may lack the necessary resources to pursue their dreams. 

In addition to providing financial assistance, this dental scholarship program prioritizes mentorship and career guidance, ensuring that beneficiaries receive comprehensive support whenever needed.

Eligibility Criteria

  • To be eligible for this dental scholarship, applicants must have completed Class 12 board examination either in 2021 or 2022.
  • They should have obtained a minimum score of 60% in the Class 12 board exams.
  • Additionally, applicants must be enrolled in the first year of any recognized BDS college in India.
  • Lastly, the applicant’s annual family income must be less than INR 5 lakh.

Award Details

Selected candidates will receive INR 50,000 per annum for 4 consecutive years.

Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship Programme

The Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship Programme is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by HALEON India (formerly GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare). Its primary focus is to extend financial support to talented and underprivileged Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) students throughout India. 

This dental scholarship aims to benefit 100 deserving students enrolled in the first year of BDS at either government colleges or government-funded colleges. Each selected student receives annual financial assistance of INR 1.05 lakh for the duration of their 4-year BDS program, aiding them in meeting their academic and living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

The list of eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

  • To be eligible, applicants must have scored at least 60% in their higher secondary education.
  • Successful applicants must maintain a minimum 60% score each semester/year throughout their 4-year course to continue receiving the benefits of this dental scholarship.
  • The annual family income of the applicants should not exceed INR 8 lakh from all sources.
  • This scholarship opportunity is available for students from across India.

Note: 

Children or family members of employees from HALEON India, IDA, Goodera, and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

Award Details – Every beneficiary of this dental scholarship will receive an amount of INR 1.05 lakh per year for the entire duration of their 4-year BDS course. 

Note:

It is important to note that the scholarship funds can only be used for academic purposes, including tuition fees, hostel fees, food, internet, mobile, laptops, books, stationery, and online learning materials.

The Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Fee Reimbursement Scholarship Scheme 2022-23 is one of the dental scholarships available in India. It is a program launched by the Directorate of Medical Education Research, the Government of Maharashtra. 

It aims to provide financial assistance to undergraduate medical degree applicants. The scheme offers selected students a 50% tuition and development fee reimbursement.

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for the Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Fee Reimbursement Scholarship Scheme, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must belong to Maharashtra’s EBC (Economically Backward Class) category.
  • The applicant must have applied for undergraduate degrees such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPTH, BOTH, B.Sc. Nursing, BUMS, BP & O, and BASLP in government-aided/corporation/private unaided colleges.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 8 lakh.
  • The applicant should have secured admission under the General category and the SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Class) category.

Award Details 

The students selected for the scholarship will be granted reimbursement of 50% of their fees, including tuition and development fees.

The Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance Scheme 2022-23 is an initiative by the Directorate of Medical Education Research, the Government of Maharashtra. 

It aims to offer financial support to students enrolled in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPTH, BOTH, B.Sc. Nursing, BUMS, BP & O, and BASLP courses in government-aided/corporation/private unaided colleges. The scheme provides selected students with hostel maintenance allowances to assist them with living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for the Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance Scheme 2022-23, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant should be a resident of Maharashtra.
  • They must have secured admission under the General category and SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Class) category.
  • The applicant should be a child of Alpa Bhudharak Shetkari (Small Land Holder) farmers or registered labourers.
  • They should have enrolled in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPTH, BOTH, B.Sc. Nursing, BUMS, BP & O, or BASLP courses in government-aided/corporation/private unaided colleges.
  • The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than INR 8 lakh.
  • The applicant must have taken hostel admission in Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Nagpur, or other locations in Maharashtra.

Award Details 

The selected candidates of the Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance Scheme will receive hostel maintenance allowances for 10 months according to the following categories:

  • For students studying in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur or Aurangabad:
    • Students with an annual income of less than INR 1 lakh will receive INR 3,000.
    • Students whose parents are Alpa Bhudharak Shetkari (Small Land Holder) farmers or registered laborers will receive INR 30,000.
  • For students studying in other locations in Maharashtra:
    • Students with an annual income of less than INR 1 lakh will receive INR 2,000.
    • Students whose parents are Alpa Bhudharak Shetkari (Small Land Holder) farmers or registered laborers will receive INR 20,000.

Minority Scholarship, Maharashtra is one of the dental scholarship programs in India for students residing in the state. The scholarship program is offered by the Minority Development Department, the Government of Maharashtra. 

Its purpose is to provide financial assistance to minority students pursuing courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, BP&O, B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, BPMT, Ophthalmic Assistant, Optometry, PB B.Sc. Nursing, and courses affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Minority Scholarship, Maharashtra, the applicant must fulfill the following criteria:

  • The applicant must have a domicile in Maharashtra.
  • They should belong to one of the following minority religions: Muslim, Buddhism, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Parsi, or Jews.
  • The applicant must have secured admission in courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, BP&O, B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, BPMT, Ophthalmic Assistant, Optometry, or B.Sc. Nursing (PB), affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
  • The admission to the course should have been secured through the CET (Common Entrance Test), a competitive exam, or based on HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) marks obtained.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should be equal to or less than INR 8 lakh.

Award Details 

The selected students will be awarded a scholarship amount equivalent to their total annual course fee or INR 25,000, depending on whichever amount is lower.
