CA/ICWA(CМA)/CS Scholarship 2025-26 – Eligibility Criteria
In order to avail the benefits under the CA/ICWA(CMA)/CS Scholarship scheme, students must fulfill the below given eligibility criteria.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Kerala.
- The scholarships will be given to students who are preparing for intermediate or final examinations for CA/ICWA(CMA)/CS in Kerala.
- Priority will be given to students who belong to the BPL category. In the absence of BPL applicants, APL category students with an annual income of up to ₹8 lakh from minority religious groups will be considered.
- 50% of the scholarships are reserved for females. If there are insufficient female applicants, male students can be considered.
- The scholarship will be granted only once during the course period.
- Students studying for the intermediate examination should have completed their foundation course or possess a degree with at least 60% marks.
- Students preparing for the final examination should have passed the intermediate examination.
CA/ICWA (CМA)/CS Scholarship 2025-26 – How to Apply?
By following the step-by-step procedure listed below, you can apply for the CA/ICWA(CMA)/CS Scholarship with ease.
Step 1 – Visit the official website of the Directorate of Minority Welfare of Kerala.
Step 2: First-time users need to register themselves and click on ‘Student Registration’.
Step 3: Students need to fill out the student registration form, and set up their account credentials.
Step 4: Now, the student can login using the email and password that they’ve set up in the previous step.
Step 5: After logging in, before applying for the scholarship the student needs to complete their profile, upload the documents, and add qualifications and other details.
Step 7: Now, click on ‘Apply for Scholarship’.
Step 8: Lastly, click on ‘Final Submit’ and take a printout of the application.

CA/ICWA (CМA)/CS Scholarship 2025-26 – Benefits
A scholarship of ₹15,000 per student is being provided under this scheme. Students belonging to the minority religious communities including Muslims, Christians (all sects), Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis will be benefitted from this scholarship.
Please note – The benefits of this scholarship will be provided to a student only once. Those who applied for the scholarship last year and were awarded it need not apply this year.

CA/ICWA (CМA)/CS Scholarship 2025-26 – Documents Required
Here’s a detailed checklist of the documents required for applying for the CA/ICWA (CМA)/CS Scholarship. Take a look –
- Copy of Aadhaar card
- Copy of Ration card
- Copy of community certificate / minority certificate
- Income certificate issued by the village officer
- Printout of the applicant’s registration form
- Copy of mark lists of Class 10, Class 12, graduation, foundation pass certificate, intermediate pass certificate etc.
- Documents certifying that you are studying for the course (Admission card, receipt of payment of tuition fees, ID card, etc.).
- Copy of the first page of the bank passbook in the applicant’s own name

Please note – The department will not be responsible for rejection of the scholarship due to incorrect bank details. So, students are advised to share every piece of detail cautiously.

Can I renew the CA/ICWA (CМA)/CS Scholarship for subsequent years?
No, you cannot renew this scholarship. This is a one-time assistance only. Students who’ve received the benefits of this scholarship earlier cannot apply for the same next year.
How will I be notified if I am awarded the CA/ICWA (CМA)/CS Scholarship?
Applicants will be notified via email or official communication from the scholarship committee about the status of their application. If selected, further instructions for receiving the scholarship funds will be provided.
Is there an income limit for the CA/ICWA (CМA)/CS Scholarship?
There is no income criteria for students who belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. However, for students who fall under the Above Poverty Line (APL) category, their annual family income must not exceed ₹8 lakh from all sources.
What documents are required for the CA/ICWA (CМA)/CS Scholarship application?
You need to submit copies of your marksheet (SSLC, PLASTA/VHSE etc.), allotment memo, first page of your bank passbook, Aadhaar card or NPR card, nativity certificate, community or minority certificate, original income certificate from the village office, and ration card.
What should I do after submitting the application form for the CA/ICWA (CМA)/CS Scholarship?
After submitting the application form, you should take a printout of the same and submit the printout to the head of the institution where you are studying along with all the required supporting documents, within the specified deadline.
