AICTE GATE Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the scholarship, candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. Here is the detailed eligibility criteria for AICTE GATE scholarship.
- Foreign students, sponsored candidates, and candidates admitted through the management quota are not eligible for the scholarship.
- Candidates must have a valid GATE/CEED 2025 score at the time of admission. Admissions before or after the GATE/CEED score’s validity will not be accepted.
- Candidates admitted to part-time courses are not eligible for the scholarship.
- Candidates must have an Aadhar-linked general savings bank account in their name. Joint, Jan-Dhan, no-frill, or transaction-limited accounts are not accepted.
- Creamy layer OBC candidates who qualify under the OBC category are not eligible for the AICTE scholarship for GATE.
- Candidates qualifying under SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Physically Handicapped categories must upload a valid certificate to be eligible. Candidates without an authentic certificate are not eligible.
- The scholarship will be disbursed for a maximum period of 24 months or until course completion or thesis submission, whichever is earlier.
