  • The candidate can belong to any of the following categories: General, SC/ST, OBC and PwD.

  • Class 8 – INR 12,000/- per annum
  • Class 9 – INR 12,000/- per annum
  • Class 10 – INR 12,000/- per annum
  • Class 11 – INR 12,000/- per annum
  • Class 12 -INR 12,000/- per annum

Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PM-USP) Yojana

The Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PM-USP) Yojana is one of the Indian Government funded scholarships for low-income students. It was launched by the Government of India in 2015. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections to pursue higher education.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the PM-USP scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

Buddy4Study - Education Loan

  • Students must belong to the top 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream as determined by their respective Board of Examination in Class XII of the 10+2 pattern or equivalent.
  • They should be pursuing regular degree courses and not correspondence or distance mode or diploma courses.
  • The courses must be offered by colleges/institutions recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education and respective Regulatory Bodies concerned.
  • Applicants should not be benefiting from any other scholarship schemes, including state-run scholarship schemes or fee waiver and reimbursement schemes.
  • Students with a gross parental/family income of up to INR 4.5 lakh per annum are eligible for the scholarship. Income certificate is required only for fresh applicants.
  • In case a student changes his/her course or institution, he/she needs to inform the authority concerned regarding the same.

Scholarship Amount and Duration

  • Graduation level:  INR 12,000/- per annum for the first three years.
  • Postgraduate level: INR 20,000/- per annum.
  • Students pursuing professional courses: INR 20,000/- per annum in the 4th and 5th year, if the duration of the course is 5 years/Integrated course. INR 12,000 p.a. for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year and INR 20,000 in the 4th year, if the student is pursuing a technical course such as B.Tech. or B.Engg.

Swami Dayanand Education Foundation (SDEF) Scholarship – India

Swami Dayanand Education Foundation (SDEF) Scholarship – India is one of the scholarships for low-income students offered by the Swami Dayanand Education Foundation (SDEF). Baba Gurbachan Singh Scholarship Scheme
