Scholarships for Commerce Students – All You Need to Know

• The students belonging to regions like Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi are eligible for the scholarship.
• They must be pursuing courses in Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational streams.
• For students pursuing courses like MBBS, Engineering or Nursing from a reputed college, they must secure at least 75% marks in class 12 with PCB/PCM/PCMB streams).
• For students pursuing courses in streams like law, psychology or mass communication, they must secure at least 75% marks in class 12.
• For students aspiring to pursue CA/CS course, they must secure at least 80% marks in class 12.
• Students who are dropouts and aspire to pursue vocational courses are also eligible.
• The annual income of the family should be less than INR 4.5 Lakh.

• The scholarship is open for students who have secured admission in class 10, 11, 12, Diploma, ITI, Vocational training, Graduation or Postgraduation courses.
• The scheme is only limited to community catchment regions around CLP India RE Assets like Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Telangana, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
• The applicants need to secure at least 50% marks in the previous examination.
• The family of the applicant must not own any LED TV, air-condition or a four-wheeler.

• The students who have passed their class 12 examination with at least 50% marks and are willing to pursue an undergraduate degree course in any stream are eligible to apply.
• The age of the applicant should be less than 19 years.
• The annual income of the family should be less than INR 12 Lakh.

• The scholarship is open for students who have passed/appearing for class 12/undergraduate degree examination can apply for this scholarship.
• They must be willing to pursue an undergraduate/postgraduate degree course in following streams –
  • Arts, Commerce and Business Management
  • Engineering and Technology
  • Business Management
  • Agriculture, Science & Paramedical

• The students pursuing a CA/CMS/CS course eligible for this scholarship.
• They must belong to OBC category and be studying at postgraduation level.
• The annual income of the family should be less than INR 1.5 Lakh.

• The students having any of the following qualifications can apply for this fellowship –
  • Master’s degree with first class
  • CA with at least 50% marks
  • CA/CMA with at least 55% marks
  • 3-years bachelor’s degree with minimum of 50% marks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with first class
• The minimum percentage of marks to be obtained by them in the Secondary/Higher Secondary Examination should be 50% in aggregate.
• They must be willing to pursue a doctoral level of study in one of the following specializations –
  • Human Resource Management
  • Economics
  • Management Information Systems
  • Finance and Control
  • Marketing
  • Organisational Behaviour
  • Operations Management
  • Regional Development
  • Public Policy and Management

• The fellowship is open for students who have any of the following qualifications –
  • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks and at least 50% marks in graduation
  • 5-year or 4-year integrated degree with minimum 55% marks
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks
  • CA/CS/ICWA with at least 55% marks
• The students must have taken the CAT examination or GMAT/GRE/UGC-JRF/GATE.

• The students who have passed class 12 examination from Government Higher Secondary School in Kerala can apply for this scholarship.
• They must have scored at least 85% marks previous academic years.
• The annual income of the family should be less than INR 1 Lakh.
• They must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme in Kerala.

• The scholarship program is applicable only for the students who are a domicile of Rajasthan state.
• They must be studying in class 12 with commerce.
• The entries are applicable under two schemes that involve class 12 students with Accounts & Mathematics and class 12 students with Accounts & other subjects.

• This test is applicable for students of class 9 to 12, B.Com., BBA, BMS and allied courses.

• This scholarship is exclusively available for girl students of age group 15 years to 30 years.
• They must be willing to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate course from a government-recognised institution in India.
• They must have passed class 12 in Science, Commerce, Arts or any other stream.
• The minimum percentage of marks to be obtained by them in class 10 and 12 is 60%.
• The annual income of the family should be less than INR 6 Lakh per annum.

• The students of class 10, 11 and 12 receive up to INR 6,000 in one instalment.
• The students of vocational, graduation and postgraduation courses receive up to INR 18,000 in two instalments of INR 9,000 each.

• Variable financial assistance is given to students on the basis of their financial status that may include –
• Full tuition fee waiver, food and accommodation charges
• Full or partial tuition fee and accommodation charge waiver
• Partial tuition fee waiver
• 100% tuition fee waiver for the fourth year

• Cash awards, gifts and prizes

• Full or partial refund of the fees paid for the course

• Monthly stipend of INR 30,000 to INR 35,000
• Annual contingency grant of up to INR 65,000 for first year of study and up to INR 25,000 for subsequent years.
• Extra fund of up to INR 50,000 for field research
• Other benefits

• Coverage of academic expenses like computer, library, tuition, alumni, placement and medical insurance.
• Subsistence allowance of up to INR 39,300 per month
• Contingency allowance of INR 25,000 per annum to cover the expenses of research, photocopy, books, etc.
• An additional amount of up to INR 1,75,000 for international workshops, conferences/summer school.

• Reimbursement of 100% tuition fees
• Monthly allowance of INR 4,000 towards subsistence/hostel cost.

• Total 100 students are selected who receive Certificate, Trophy and Scholarship of up to 80%

  • All participants receive participation certificates
• For level 2 –
  • The first prize winner receives INR 1,00,000
