Sanchi Honnamma Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria

• Only girl students studying in UG courses (arts, commerce or science streams) are eligible.
• Applicable for students enrolled in government and private aided first grade colleges.
• Students must have passed the previous examination in the first attempt.
• Minimum marks required in previous examinations for general category (Urban colleges) is 50%, general category (Rural colleges) is 45% and SC/ST students (Urban & Rural) is 45%.
• Eligible only if the student studied in Government schools from Class 1 to Class 7.

Sanchi Honnamma Scholarship – Benefits

Meritorious girls students who meet the eligibility criteria and get selected for the Sanchi Honnamma Scholarship are provided a financial assistance of ₹2,000 per year. The scholarship amount is provided in second and third year of the course as well.

Sanchi Honnamma Scholarship Registration Process

Step 1: Visit the Karnataka State Scholarship Portal.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Click Here to Create New Account’.

Step 3: Enter your Student Aadhaar Number and click ‘Proceed’.

Step 4: The next step is enter your Aadhaar number. 

Step 5: Select your gender, enter your email address and mobile number then click on submit. 

Step 6: This completes your registration. Your account will be created and you will receive your User ID on the registered mobile number that you’ve registered.

Sanchi Honnamma Scholarship Application Process

Step 1: Visit the official website for the scholarship: ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in/.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Click Here to Login to SSP Student Account’.

Step 3: A new login page will open. To log in enter your user ID, password and captcha.

Note: If you forget your student ID or password, retrieve it by clicking on the ‘Forget Password’ or ‘Know your Student ID’ button. 

Step 4: Once logged in, proceed to complete the scholarship application. Fill in all required details in the application. 

Step 5: Next is to upload all the necessary documents and submit the application. 

Step 6: Once submitted, an email confirmation will be sent to your registered email address.
