  • The applicant must be enrolled in a full-time course. Part-time or correspondence courses are not eligible for academic allowances.
  • Employed students can apply only if they are on leave without pay for the entire duration of the course or if their combined income does not exceed the specified income ceiling.
  • Students who are repeating an educational stage in a different subject or pursuing professional studies in a different field are not eligible.
  • Postgraduate medical students are eligible only if they are not permitted to practice during the course period.
  • Scholarship holders are not allowed to receive any other scholarships or stipends simultaneously and must opt for the most beneficial one.
