One of the most popular courses for students in India, along with engineering and medicine, is law. Legal education offers an idealistic person a realistic way to make a difference in the world. A law graduate with a strong sense of justice can see the defects in the system, and work constructively and effectively to change it.
A good law student is required to be skilled at critical evaluation and analysis, and verbal as well as written communication. No surprises hence this is exactly what the top law universities in the country test for in their admission tests before accepting students.
In India, law can be pursued directly after +2, through an integrated 5-year course, or after graduation for a 3-year LL.B. degree. Whichever route a prospective law student takes, they must clear an entrance exam to gain admission to any reputed law school.
