- Financial assistance will be sanctioned to the students who are studying in the top 200 universities list provided by the state government.
- Students will receive the scholarship amount in 4 instalments (for Post Graduation courses).

Pre-Matric Scholarship
The pre-matric scholarship is for school students residing in Andhra Pradesh. The pre-matric scholarship is provided by the state government and is only available for the students studying in schools run by the government and local bodies like Zilla Parishad, Mandal, or Municipalities.
Eligibility
- Students of SC, ST, BC, and Disabled category are eligible for this scholarship
- The student’s annual family income must be 2 lakh or less
- Only students belonging to SC, ST and disabled categories studying in Classes 5 to 10 can apply
- For Classes 9 and 10, students belonging to backward class can apply
Awards
- Classes 5 to 8 students (SC/ST) – ₹1,000 (for boys) and ₹1,500 (for girls)
- Classes 9 to 10 (Day scholars) – ₹1,500 and ₹750 as book grant
- Classes 9 to 10 (Hosteller) – ₹3,500 and ₹1,000 as book grant
Jagananna Vidya/Vasathi Deevena Scheme (Post Matric Scholarship)
The Andhra Pradesh government provides post-matric scholarships for various minority categories of the state. The post-matric scholarship disbursal is categorised into two sections:
- Jagananna Vidya Deevena
- Jagananna Vasathi Deevena
Eligibility
- SC, ST, BC, EBC, Minorities, Kapu, and Disabled categories students can apply
- Students must pursue ITI, Polytechnic, or any other higher degree from a recognised Institution, University or College
- Day scholars, students in CAH (College Attached Hostels), and DAH (Dept. Attached hostels) can apply
- Students must have an aggregate of 75% attendance (in college or university)
- The student’s annual family income should be equal to or less than ₹2.5 lakh
- Student’s family member should not own a four-wheeler except a taxi, auto, or tractor
- The student’s family must have a property less than 1500 sq ft. area in an urban area (or no property in an urban area)
- Any family of the student should not be in a government service

For Jagananna Vidya Deevena – Students will get full fee reimbursement
For Jagananna Vasathi Deevena
Students will receive:
- ₹10,000 annually (ITI course)
- ₹15,000 annually (Polytechnic)
- ₹20,000 annually (UG/PG/PhD course)
Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena
Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme is provided by the state government to the students belonging to SC, ST, BC, EBC, Kapu and minority categories. This scholarship is dedicated to students belonging to Andhra Pradesh and want to pursue higher studies abroad.
Eligibility
- The student’s family income must be below ₹8 lakh per year from all sources
- Only one member of a family is eligible for the scholarship
- The age of the applicant must not exceed 35 years on the date of publication of the notification
- The applicant must have scored at least 60% marks in the last exam (PG or Ph.D)
- Students who benefited under similar schemes from the Government of India or the Andhra Pradesh Government are not eligible
Awards
- 100% tuition fees (students studying in the top 100 universities list provided by Andhra Pradesh Government)
- 50% tuition fee or ₹50 lakh, whichever is less (students studying in universities ranked 101 to 200 list provided by the Andhra Pradesh Government)

Jnanabhumi Pre-Matric Scholarship Application Process
Follow the steps given below to apply for Jnanabhumi scholarships available on the portal.
Fresh Application
- Visit the official website – jnanabhumi.apcfss.in
- Click on the fresh registration form
- Enter all the required details in the application form
- The concerned Hostel Welfare Officer (HWO) will check the application details and confirm it
- Once confirmed by the Hostel Welfare Officer (HWO), the District Welfare IOfficer will sanction the scholarship
Renewal
- Visit the official website
- Click on the Renewal registration form
- Enter the required details and submit it for renewal
- The concerned Hostel Welfare Officer (HWO) will confirm the renewal application and forward it to the District Welfare Officer
- District Welfare Officer will confirm the details and sanction the scholarship
Jagananna Vidya/Vasathi Deevena (Post Matric Scholarship) Application Process
Fresh Application
- Download the JSAF application form
- Fill in the form and submit it to the college principal
- The college authority will verify the details and submit it to the Jnanabhumi portal
- The student will receive a confirmation SMS once the application form is submitted
- Students need to visit Mee Seva Centre and provide their application ID and aadhar number
- Students can recheck the details on the application form
- Submit the application with the biometric authentication
Renewal
- College principal keys in the student’s admission date (current year) and roll number/hall ticket (for the preceding year)
- The student will receive an SMS on the successful submission of the renewal application
- Students need to confirm the details on the application form and give biometric authentication to the college
