Gauhati University Admission Process 2026: Integrated UG and PG Courses

Admission to the five-year integrated masters programme on the GU campus and the four-year undergraduate programme at affiliated colleges is merit-based. Candidates can follow the steps below.

  • An application fee of ₹1,500 plus applicable bank charges is paid through the online payment gateway.
  • Next, download the admit card and appear for the CAT.
  • The merit list is prepared on the basis of the entrance test performance.
  • Seats are then allotted to law colleges affiliated to universities in Assam, excluding Dibrugarh University.
