Who are Aarav Malhotra and Saavi Jain, Who Topped CBSE 2025 Class 10 & 12 Respectively

New Delhi, May 14, 2025: With the result announcement of CBSE Class 10 and 12 on May 13, Aarav Malhotra from Greater Noida has secured 1st rank in the CBSE Class 10, while Saavi Jain from Shamli is the highest scorer in 12th in 2025. The 10th topper Aarav Malhotra (A student of DPS School, Greater Noida West), scored 500 out of 500 marks. Alongside the core subjects like English, Maths, Science, and Social Science, he chose French as his second language and Artificial Intelligence as his sixth subject. Furthermore, he scored 100 out of 100 in English, French, Maths, Science, and Artificial Intelligence. We have attached the Class 10 marksheet of Aarav below.

Saavi Jain Scores 499 out of 500

Saavi Jain is the CBSE topper this year for Class 12, who scored an impressive 499 marks out of 500. She is from the Scottish International School, Shamli. Saavi became a national inspiration with her perfect 100 score in English, Political Science, Geography, Economics, and Painting, and 99 in History!

In an interview with PTI, Saavi said, “I used to study for 4 to 5 hours every day. After school, I attended tuitions and then took some time to rest. I followed a fixed daily schedule, planning in advance which subject to focus on. My goal was to understand each topic so thoroughly that I could be confident about at least 99% of it.”

CBSE Topper District List 2025

Along with the results, CBSE released the list of top districts in India based on the pass percentage of students in Classes 10 and 12. Trivandrum ranked first for Class 10 exam, with a pass percentage of 99.79%. Similarly, Vijayawada topped the Class 12 list, with 99.60% of students passing the exam. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 10 exam from February 15 to March 20, 2025. And the CBSE Class 12 exam was conducted from February 21 to April 04, 2025. In 2024, 87.89% of students passed the Class 12 exam, and in 2025, the pass percentage increased to 88.39%, reflecting a growth of 0.41% in passing percentage. As for Class 10, the pass percentage in 2024 was 93.60%, which increased by 0.06% in 2025, and it is at 93.66%.
