Centrally-Run Schools Continue to Lead

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) have shown consistent improvement in performance over the years, rising from 97.51% in 2023 to 98.90% in 2024 and further to 99.29% in 2025—nearly reclaiming their levels of excellence. Schools under the Central Tibetan Schools Administration (CTSA/STSS) have also maintained high levels of academic achievement. Although there was a slight decline from 99.23% in 2024 to 98.96% in 2025, the pass rate remains significantly above the 2023 level of 96.77%, indicating overall stability and academic strength.
Government and Government Aided institutions have shown a steady upward trend in pass percentages. Government schools improved from 88.23% in 2024 to 90.48% in 2025, while Government Aided schools rose consistently from 87.17% in 2023 to 91.42% in 2024 and further to 91.57% in 2025 – reflecting continuous academic progress across these sectors.
