- For Diploma (Polytechnic) Courses: Minimum 60% in qualifying examination excluding optional elective subjects. Courses must be approved by AICTE/PCI/CoA and affiliated to WBSCT&VE&SD.
- For Undergraduate Level: Minimum 60% marks in HS from WBCHSE or Madrasa Board. Separate merit lists for Arts, Commerce, and Science.
- For Undergraduate Lateral Entry (Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy): Minimum 60% in Diploma from AICTE-approved institutes affiliated to WBSCT&VE&SD or State Medical Faculty (for Pharmacy lateral entry).
- For Postgraduate Level: Minimum 53% in UG Honours subject (general PG), 55% marks for Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy PG applicants and for Kanyashree K3 applicants; 45% in UG degree.
- For M.Phil./Ph.D. (Non-NET): Full-time scholars registered on or after 01.04.2017.
6. Passing year condition:
- Eligible candidates must have passed in 2024, 2023, 2022 or 2021.
- Candidates from earlier years (2020 or before) require 75% marks.
