Post-Matric Scholarship, West Bengal 2024-25

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be a domicile of West Bengal
• belong to the minority section of West Bengal
• be studying Class 11 to Ph.D. level in a School/Institution recognized by an educational Board/University of the State/Central Government
• have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent in the previous examination
• have a family income of less than ₹2,00,000 per annum

Note: The students pursuing their studies outside West Bengal are not eligible for this scholarship.

The selected candidates will receive the following benefits:- 

General course students in Classes 11 and 12 - 

1) For Day Scholars:

• Admission fee & tuition fee – ₹7,700
• Maintenance Allowance – ₹2,500

2) For Hostellers:

• Admission fee & tuition fee – ₹7,700
• Maintenance Allowance – ₹4,200

Technical and Vocational course students in Class 11 and 12

1) For Day Scholars:

• Admission fee & tuition fee – ₹11,000
• Maintenance Allowance – ₹2,500

2) For Hostellers:

• Admission fee & tuition fee – ₹11,000
• Maintenance Allowance – ₹4,200

Undergraduate & Post Graduate Students 

1) For Day Scholars: 

• Admission fee & tuition fee – ₹3,300
• Maintenance Allowance – ₹3,300

2) For Hostellers:

• Admission fee & tuition fee – ₹3,300
• Maintenance Allowance – ₹6,300

M.Phil & PhD Students - 

1) For Day Scholars: 

• Admission fee & tuition fee – ₹3,300
• Maintenance Allowance – ₹6,000

2) For Hostellers:

• Admission fee & tuition fee – ₹3,300
• Maintenance Allowance – ₹13,200

• Marksheet of the last academic examination
• Family income certificate 
• First page of the bank passbook
• Institute verification form duly authenticated by the Head of the Institution (HOI) in the prescribed format

Follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the scholarship:-

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to register (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Fresh Registration 2024-2025' and then click on it. 
Step 4: Select the district where the applicant's institute is situated and click on 'Proceed.'
Step 5: Fill in the required details under the 'Student Information' and 'Scheme Eligibility' sections and Register.
Step 6: After successful registration, log in using the registered user ID and password.
Step 7: Fill in the application form, upload the relevant documents, and submit.

Note:- Students are required to submit the hard copy of the application form with the photocopies of the bank passbook to the concerned institute.
