  • Graduate/PG courses leading to degree/diploma/certificate in fields like Pharmacy, Nursing, LLB, BFS, Mass Comm, Hotel Management, Financial services for which minimum qualification is class 12 and more

  • INR 510 per month to hostellers and INR 335 per month to day scholars are given.
  • A reader allowance of INR 175 per month to blind students.
  • The selected students who are studying professional and technical courses also get up to INR 900 per annum as study tour charges.
  • An amount of up to INR 1,000 is given to research scholars on the recommendation of the Head of the institution.
Group C includes all those courses that are not covered under Group A & B, and which lead to a graduate degree like BA/B.Sc./B.Com. etc.

  • INR 400 per month to hostellers and INR 210 per month to day scholars are given.
  • A reader allowance of INR 130 per month to blind students.
Group D includes all post-matriculation level non-degree courses for which the minimum qualification is class 10 such as Class 11 & 12, both general & vocational stream, ITI courses, 3-year Diploma courses, Polytechnic, etc.

Besides the fees and charges mentioned above, the selected candidates receive enrolment/ registration, tuition, games, union, library, magazine, medical examination and various other fees that are compulsorily paid to the institution or university/board by the scholar. However, refundable deposits like caution money, security deposits are not included in the scholarship.

Note: If a student is pursuing studies through correspondence, then he/she becomes eligible for the reimbursement of non-refundable fee and an annual allowance of INR 900 for essential/prescribed books.

Step 1: Visit the National Scholarship Portal and register.

Step 2: Once registered, the applicants will receive their application ID and password on their registered mobile number.

Step 3: Log in using the registered ID and password. The applicants will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number which has to be used to change the password (a mandatory step).

Step 4: After successful login, fill in all required details and upload the supporting documents to complete the application and submit it.
