7. Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana Eligibility
- Children of beneficiaries enrolled under the CM-KISAN scheme, including both components, Support to Farmers for Cultivation and Livelihood Support to Landless Agricultural Households, are eligible to apply. The applicant’s parent must be verified as an eligible CM-KISAN beneficiary at the Chief District Agriculture Officer (CDAO) level.
- The student must have secured admission on a merit basis to a Government or Private Institution that holds a valid AISHE (All India Survey on Higher Education) code of the State, or to a Premier Government Institution located within or outside the State.
- Students admitted to self-financing courses in Government or private institutions will be eligible for the scholarship only within the capped fee structure prescribed under the scheme.
- The applicant must not be a recipient of any other scholarship. However, if already availing one, they may opt to discontinue the existing scholarship and switch to the Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana, as only one scholarship can be availed at a time.
