Step 1: Visit the official website of Swayam at https://swayam.gov.in/, and then you need to click on the ‘Login/Sign Up’ button in the top right corner of the screen as shown below.

Step 5: A verification email will be sent to your email. Confirm your email by clicking on the link to verify your account.  

How to Log in to the Swayam Portal?

To select which course to start, you need to first log in to your Swayam portal account. The login process is quick, and it requires just a minute or so to complete. The exact steps are mentioned below.

One of the key advantages of the Swayam portal is its accessibility on mobile devices. There are two ways to access courses on mobile:

  • Web Browser: You can use Chrome, Safari, Opera, or any other browser on your Android or iOS device to access the Swayam portal.
  • Swayam App: There is a mobile app available for students, but it is available only for Android devices. Therefore, students who want to take free courses on Swayam using a mobile or tablet can do so exclusively on Android.

Swayam Plus

On February 27, 2024, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan officially launched Swayam Plus, which is the successor of the existing Swayam portal. This platform, designed by IIT Madras in collaboration with L&T, Microsoft, and CISCO, aims to bridge academic learning with industry-driven skills to improve the employability of learners.
