The Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means (SVMCM) Scholarship seeks to serve the following objectives:
Extension of Financial Support to Meritorious Students

(Note: Female students from West Bengal who have earned a Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 45% from an institution in the state can also apply under this scheme as Kanyashree (K3) applicants.)

SVMCM Scholarship 2025: How to Apply?
The application deadline for the SVMCM scholarship 2025 has been extended to 30 April 2025. Students should follow these steps to apply for the Scholarship:

SVMCM Scholarship 2025: Fresh Application & Documentation
The following documents are required in order to apply for the SVMCM Scholarship 2025.
- Marksheet of Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent (both sides)
- Marksheet of last Board/Council/University/College examination (both sides)
- Admission receipt
- Income certificate of the family (not applicable for Kanyashree)
- Domicile certificate (Aadhaar ID/Voter ID/Ration card/Certificate) issued by the concerned authority
- Scanned copy of bank passbook containing account number and IFSC code
- A declaration by the head of the institution regarding the cause of a gap in continuing education (This is required only if the applicant selects the year of the qualifying exam as 2022 or earlier during registration.)
SVMCM Scholarship 2025: Scholarship Renewal
To renew their applications, candidates should :
- Login to their account using their Application ID and Password.
- Upload the scanned supporting documents that include the marksheet of the last qualifying examination and the admission receipt of the class they have been promoted to.
- Check the declaration and click on the ‘Submit Application’ button.
SVMCM Scholarship 2025: Application Renewal & Documentation
The documents required for application renewal are as follows:
- Copy of the marksheet of the last examination in the present course of study. In the case of semester examinations, the marksheets of the last two semesters are required.
- Admission receipt for the promotion to the next higher class.

To retrieve their Applicant ID or password, students must follow the instructions mentioned below:
- Visit the official website and click on the ‘Applicant Login’ option. Then click on ‘Forgot Applicant ID/Password’ option on the Login pop-up.
- Select the information you want to retrieve and click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
For Applicant ID:
- Select the Applicant type, enter your mobile number, and the security code. Click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the ‘Verify’ button.
- After successful verification, your Applicant ID will be displayed on your screen.
For password:
- Select the Applicant Type, enter your Applicant ID, registered mobile number, and the security code. Then click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
- An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the ‘Verify’ button.
- After successful verification of the mobile number, a form to reset the password will appear. Set a new password and click on the ‘Reset Password’ button.
- Once the password is successfully reset, a new message will be displayed on the screen.
SVMCM Scholarship 2025: How to Change Profile Password?
To change your profile password, click on the ‘Settings’ tab in the menu area. Then click on the ‘Reset Password’ option. First, enter the existing password, then the new password followed by the captcha. Finally, click on the ‘Update Password’ button.
