Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles 2022-23

The Welfare and Rehabilitation Board, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has launched a scheme for the dependent children and widows of Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles personnel. The scheme provides financial benefits to the wards of martyred State Police Personnel during Naxal and Terror attacks.

  • Secured at least 60% marks in Minimum Entry Qualification (i.e. Class 12/Diploma/Graduation or equivalent)
  • Passed subsequent academic year of the professional courses with a minimum of 50% marks
  • Students must be pursuing first professional degree courses (Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, BBA, BCA, B.Pharm., B.Sc., MBA, MCA, etc.)
  • The institution must be recognized by the Government Regulatory Bodies
  • INR 3,000 per month for a girl child
  • INR 2,500 per month for a boy child

  • Children/widows of deceased CAPFs & AR personnel died in election duty/harness/disabled because of attributable to Government service/Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel
