As per the Government of West Bengal, this scholarship is meant to “encourage students to continue their pursuit of higher education.” The eligibility criteria of the post matric scholarship West Bengal are as follows:
- The applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal
- He/she must be studying in an institution recognised by an educational board/council/university of the state or central government.
- The applicant must have secured minimum 50% of marks in the last qualified examination.

Registration:

- On the Home page, click on “Student’s Area”.
- Click on “Fresh Registration 2023-24.”
- Select your district.
- Fill in the required details, fit in the captcha code and click on “submit and proceed”.
Please note: The applicant/student must remember his/her User ID and Password.
Application Process
- After registration, log in with the User ID and password.
- Fill in the “Basic Information”.
- Then fill up the “Academic Information” section.
- Lastly, fill up the “Bank Account Information” and verify.
- After everything is complete, click on the “preview” option and then check each and every detail and then hit the “Final Submit” button.
- Take a printout of the entire application and attach the required documents and submit it to the concerned institute.
