Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) for SC/ST/BC/Disabled Category, Telangana 2022-23 is an initiative for students of Telangana studying in Class 11 to Ph.D. level. Initiated by the Department of Backward Class Welfare, Government of Telangana, this scholarship aims for Class 10 passed students to pursue post-matric level studies such as intermediate (class 11 and 12), ITI, polytechnic, professional courses, graduate and postgraduate courses, Ph.D., etc.
The selected candidates will receive reimbursement of tuition fees ranging from INR 850 per annum for the intermediate courses to INR 6,90,000 per annum for medical courses. Furthermore, the selected scholars will also receive variable maintenance or mess charges on a monthly basis.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship are listed below:
- The applicant must be a domicile of Telangana state.
- The applicant must belong to SC/ST/BC/EBC/Disabled Welfare category.
- The applicant must have passed Class 10 and is currently pursuing his/her education at the post-matric level.
- The applicant must have passed the Class 10 examination with a minimum of 75% attendance at the end of each quarter.
- For SC/ST category the applicant must have an annual parental income of less than INR 2,00,000.
- For BC/EBC/Disabled Welfare category of rural areas, the applicant must have an annual parental income of less than INR 1,50,000.
- For BC/EBC/Disabled Welfare category of urban areas, the applicant must have an annual parental income of less than INR 2,00,000.

Benefits
The selected candidates will receive reimbursement of tuition fees per annum as follow –
