Netarhat Vidyalaya Admission – Eligibility Criteria

  • Only male students are eligible.
  • Students must have a domicile of Jharkhand. 
  • The age limit is 10 to 12 years till the date.

The Netarhat Vidyalaya examination date for 2023-24 is October 08, 2023. There are two shifts for the examination:

  • First Shift – The first shift exam will be conducted on October 08, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
  • Second Shift – The second shift exam will be conducted on October 08, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Selection Process

The Netarhat school admissions are based on the entrance test, psychological test, and medical examination of students. Below is a comprehensive list of test Levels for admission in the school:

Level 1

There are two written tests conducted for level 1, which include: 

  • Preliminary Test
  • Mains Test 

The standard of the written examination is of the Class 5 level consisting subjects like Languages and Literature, Mathematics, and General Knowledge (consisting of Life science and Social science). 

Note: To accommodate the multilingual character of the student population, the tests are conducted in English, Hindi, and Bengali. 

Level 2

  • The second level test is a psychological examination and interviews of students. 
  • The selected students in the written test appear for Level 2 conducted by NVS. 

Level 3 

  • This level consists of a medical examination
  • The selected students must undergo a medical fitness test conducted under the supervision of a civil surgeon. 

  • The final results are declared after the completion of all the 3 level tests. 
  • The quota of reservation in admission is followed as per the Government policy and circular.
