Madhya Pradesh Khiladi Protsahan Yojana (MPKPY) is the initiative of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh to promote and nurture sports talent within the State. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, inaugurated the ‘Madhya Pradesh Khiladi Protsahan Yojana (MPKPY)’ for the development of the state’s labourers and their families. Through this scheme, construction labourers and their families will be encouraged to participate in sports competitions, and the winners will be honoured with incentive amounts. Under this scheme, families of the labourers will be provided monetary support as an incentive if selected. The government will provide incentive amounts in various categories under the scheme, encouraging those players who win competitions at different levels. MP Khiladi Protsahan Yojana (MPKPY) – Eligibility Criteria
Students must fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below in order to apply under the Madhya Pradesh Khiladi Protsahan Yojana (MPKPY):
- Applicants must be more than 15 years old.
- They must be a ward of registered construction worker or a family member of construction workers registered in the State of Madhya Pradesh.

Interested candidates must visit the office of the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat and Commissioner/Chief Municipal Officer, Urban Body to obtain the application form for MPKPY scheme.
After obtaining the application form, applicants must fill in the required details, attach the relevant documents and submit it to the concerned department.
Under MPKPY scheme, Applications for awards under Category-A can be submitted through a recognised sports institution along with a certificate provided by the District Superintendent of Police (DSP) or District Sports Officer (DSO) to the designated officer as specified.
