Mohan T Advani Centennial Scholarship Programme 2026-27 – Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Mohan T Advani Centennial Scholarship Programme 2026, applicants must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be studying in the first or second year of an undergraduate degree or diploma programme in Architecture or Engineering at a college approved by the Blue Star Foundation. (Approved College list)
  • Eligible engineering disciplines include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Production Engineering, and other related STEM fields. (Note: Civil Engineering students are not eligible).
  • Applicants must have a strong academic record and meet the following minimum academic requirements:
  • Degree (Engineering/Architecture)
  • First-year students: Minimum 80% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12.
  • Second-year students: Minimum 80% marks in Class 12 and 75% marks in the first year of the degree programme.
  • Diploma (Engineering/Architecture)
  • First-year students: Minimum 70% marks in Class 10 or Class 12.
  • Second-year students: Minimum 75% marks (7.5 CGPA) in the first year of the diploma programme.
  • The annual family income from all sources must be less than INR 6 lakh. However, students studying at eligible West Zone colleges with an annual family income of up to INR 10 lakh may also be considered based on financial need. Preference will be given to applicants with an annual family income of up to INR 6 lakh.
  • Children of employees of Buddy4Study, Blue Star Limited, and Blue Star Foundation are not eligible to apply.

  • The list of eligible colleges may be revised by the Blue Star Foundation.

Career Assessment Test

Eligible students pursuing undergraduate degree programmes in engineering or architecture can receive:

  • Up to INR 1,00,000 or 75% of the academic fee, whichever is lower.

For Diploma Students

Eligible students pursuing diploma programmes in engineering or architecture can receive:

  • Up to INR 40,000 or 75% of the academic fee, whichever is lower.

Note:

  • Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the enrolled institution.
  • The scholarship covers academic fees (tuition, admission, and exam fees) only. Hostel, mess, device, and book expenses are not covered.
