Upload your photo, Aadhaar, income certificate, and marksheet (PDFs under 200 KB each). Submit before the last date (generally October–November 2025). Your school/college will verify the application. The amount is credited directly to your bank account.

Who is eligible to apply for Mizoram scholarships?

Students residing in Mizoram with low family income (commonly ≤ ₹2.5 lakh/year) can apply. ST/SC/OBC and notified minority students receive additional support. How can I check whether my Mizoram scholarship amount has been credited?

Log in at scholarships.gov.in with your Application ID and password, then click Check Status. Or visit pfms.nic.in and search using Aadhaar or bank details. Funds are usually released 2–3 months after institutional verification. If delayed, contact your college or the MSB office (Aizawl). Ensure your bank account is active and Aadhaar-linked.

What documents are required to apply for a Mizoram scholarship?

Before applying for the Mizoram scholarship, ensure that you have all the necessary documents ready. These include your Aadhaar card, bank passbook (in your name), income certificate issued within the last six months, caste or minority certificate, latest exam marksheet, bonafide certificate from your institution, and the current year’s fee receipt. All documents should be scanned in colour, signed with the note “True Copy” on each page, and saved as small PDF files within the prescribed size limit. Upload them only through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) or the Mizoram Scholarship Portal. Keep the original copies safely, as they may be required for verification later.
