KARePASS Registration – Step-wise Process

If an applicant finds himself or herself eligible for any scholarship available on the KARePASS portal, they can proceed with the KARePASS registration process. The process to register is easy and convenient through the online portal. The applicants are required to provide the details such as father/husband name, date of birth, gender, caste, etc.

Listed below are the steps to be followed to get yourself registered on KARePASS scholarship portal – 

Step 1: Visit the official website of the KARePASS scholarship.

Step 2: Scroll to the ‘Student Zone’ and click on the scholarship you want to apply for.

Step 3: A new window will open where you can access the scholarship application form. Proceed with the registration. 

Step 4:  Once you have registered successfully, you can proceed with the scholarship application.

Listed below are the scholarship schemes offered on KARePASS Scholarship portal –

1. Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS)
  • Students studying at post-matriculation level of education.
  • Annual family income should be less than INR 1.50 Lakhs (for Category 1) and INR  2 Lakhs (for 2A, 3A and 3B categories).
Scholarship up to INR 3,500 per annum
2. Food & Accommodation Scholarship (FAAS)
  • Students studying at post-matric level in Government/ Government-aided/ housing colleges.
  • Annual family income should be less than INR 2.50 Lakhs (for category 1) and INR 5 Lakhs (for 2A, 3A, and 3B categories).
INR 1,500 per month for 10 months
3. Fee Concession (FC) Scheme
  • Students pursuing post-graduate courses can apply.
  • Annual family income should be below INR 1 Lakh (for category 1) and INR 2.50 Lakhs (for 2A, 3A, and 3B categories).
