Getting admission opportunities in top institutions like IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and NITs (National Institute of Technology) is really a tough proposition in India, given the tough competition and low success rate in JEE Main and JEE Advanced entrance tests.
However, once you succeed, you should not think twice of grabbing that coveted opportunity.
But, what if you are not able to afford the fees and other educational expenses for your engineering programme despite getting an opportunity?
Worry not! Several of these prestigious institutions provide scholarships, fee waivers, and fee reductions to help students who face financial problems in continuing their engineering programme.
Buddy4Study has compiled here a list of such institute-specific scholarships which offer an opportunity for newly-joined or would-be joining IITians and NITians to receive financial assistance to pursue their education dreams.

The scholarship providers may even name the fund after themselves.
Most recently, 3300 donors of a US based alumni group of IIT Bombay supported 575 Named Scholarships, which benefitted nearly 5,000 students and funded the construction and establishment of 25 major centres, schools and laboratories.
