The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially announced the Class 12 (HSC) Results 2026 on May 4, 2026 at 10 am. Students can check their results on the official website using their seat number. Details on re-evaluation and supplementary exams will be announced soon.

Scholarship Registration and Login

The GSEB Class 12 Result 2026 shows a strong overall performance across both major streams. In the Science stream, 1,11,090 students appeared, out of which 93,678 students passed, taking the pass percentage to 84.33%. Meanwhile, the General stream recorded a higher overall pass percentage of 92.71%, with 4,03,362 students passing out of 4,35,102 who appeared.

Gujarat Class 12 Results 2026 – Overall Result Update

  • Science stream recorded its best regular-exam performance in several years. The Science pass percentage rose to 84.33% in 2026, compared to 83.51% in 2025 and 82.45% in 2024. The official historical table shows that, excluding the 2021 no-exam COVID year, 2026 is the strongest Science result since 2015.
  • General stream remained very strong despite a marginal dip. The General stream pass percentage stood at 92.71%, slightly lower than 93.07% in 2025, but still above 91.93% in 2024.
  • Girls outperformed boys in both streams. In Science, girls recorded 84.65%, while boys recorded 84.04%. In the General stream, the gender gap was much wider: girls achieved 95.41%, compared to 90.10% for boys.
  • Science saw a major rise in high scorers. The number of Science students securing A1 grade increased from 831 in 2025 to 1,576 in 2026.
  • Morbi led the Science stream, while Dahod remained the lowest-performing district. Morbi recorded the highest Science result at 94.85%, while Dahod recorded the lowest at 57.44%, showing a wide district-level gap of over 37 percentage points.
  • Ahwa-Dang topped the General stream. In the General stream, Ahwa-Dang recorded 97.88%, while Ahmedabad city recorded 87.10%, the lowest among districts in the official district-wise table.
  • The number of 100% result schools increased in both streams. In Science, schools with 100% results rose from 194 in 2025 to 209 in 2026. In the General stream, this number increased from 2,005 to 2,030.
  • Low-performing schools reduced, which is a positive sign. Science schools with below 10% result reduced from 34 to 22, while General stream schools with below 10% result reduced from 21 to 13.
  • Repeat candidates showed a major improvement in the General stream. The pass percentage of General stream repeat candidates jumped from 45.36% in 2025 to 63.02% in 2026, a rise of 17.66 percentage points.
  • GSOS performance also improved. For Gujarat State Open School candidates in the General stream, regular candidates’ pass percentage increased from 55.67% to 61.60%, while GSOS repeat candidates improved from 42.76% to 60.13%.
  • Science participation increased significantly. Science regular candidates appearing for the exam increased from 1,00,575 in 2025 to 1,11,090 in 2026, while the number of successful candidates rose from 83,987 to 93,678.
  • General stream participation saw a major jump. Regular candidates appearing in the General stream increased from 3,62,506 in 2025 to 4,35,102 in 2026, and the number of successful candidates increased from 3,37,387 to 4,03,362.

Students can access their Gujarat Class 12 results online on the official GSEB website. Below are the steps to follow –
