Education Scholarship Scheme for Army Personnel (ESSA) – Eligibility Criteria
- Wards of all serving Army Personnel and Military Nursing Services (MNS) officers are eligible to apply. The applicant/ward should be under 25 years of age at the time of completion of class/course from Class 9 to postgraduate level of education.

No changes or modifications will be allowed after the submission of the online application form and therefore candidates are advised to fill in the details carefully.
- The percentage of marks will be calculated on the basis of all subjects opted by the student in the class. Scholarship will not be awarded on the basis of best four or five subjects.
- Applicants should upload photocopies of the mark sheets obtained from the schools including mark sheets of both semesters of the years passed at college. Results of supplementary or six-month exams results will not be considered for the application.
- Applicants should ensure that email address and mobile numbers provided in the application form remain active until the scholarship is disbursed i.e. March 31, 2024.
- The name of the bank, account holder, account number, and IFSC code should match the applicant’s or the applicant’s parents. It must be in alignment with the information given on the uploaded cancelled cheque failing which the application will be rejected.
- Each candidate should submit only one application. Multiple applications by the same applicant, will lead to rejection.
