Education Scholarship Scheme for Army Personnel (ESSA) 2026 is an initiative of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) to provide financial assistance to wards of serving Army personnel studying in Classes 9 to PG level (professional/general courses). The selected students will receive up to ₹10,000 per annum and a merit certificate.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
Note:- Wards of Retired Army personnel, Territorial Army personnel (TA), and deceased Army personnel are not eligible.
The selected students will receive the following scholarship based on the level of education for all categories, along with a merit certificate:-

| Class 9 to 11 | ₹2,000 |
| Class 10 to 12 | ₹4,000 |
| Graduation | ₹7,500 |
| Professional/PG courses | ₹10,000 |
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-

Step 3: Verify your ‘Mobile number’.
Step 4: Click on the 'New User Register' button and fill in the required registration details.
Step 5: Fill in the required details and click on the ‘SIGN UP’ button, and click on the 'Submit' button.
Step 6: Click on the ‘APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP’ button.
Step 7: Enter the mentioned details, upload the necessary documents, and click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button.

The applications will be shortlisted based on cut-off percentages/grades given as follows:
