Digital Gujarat Scholarships – Eligibility Criteria

As mentioned earlier, there are multiple scholarships that have been floated under the Digital Gujarat scholarships. The tentative dates of application for all the following scholarships fall between June to October every year.

Fellowship Scheme for M.Phil. and PhD Students (SEBC), Gujarat	The students must belong to the SEBC category and should be pursuing a PhD or M.Phil. course. The students must have an annual family income of not more than INR 45,760.
Fellowship Scheme, Gujarat	The students must belong to SC/ST/SEBC and other categories. They must be studying in Class 11 to postgraduate level. The minimum percentage of marks scored in Class 10 boards must be at least 70%. Annual family income should not be more than INR 2.5 lakhs.
Educational Assistance for NTDNT Students Studying in Self-Financed College, Gujarat	The students must belong to NTDNT category. The students must be studying in a self-financed college. The students must have an annual family income of not more than INR 2 lakhs.
Food Bill Assistance to SC Students, Gujarat	The students must belong to the SC category. The students must be pursuing a Medical or Engineering programme. The students must have an annual family income of not more than INR 2.50 lakhs.
Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, Gujarat	The students must have obtained 80 percentile in Class 10/ 12. The students must be studying in the first year of a diploma/degree course respectively. Also – The students obtaining 65% in diploma and getting admission in the first/second year of degree course are eligible. The annual income of the family in both instances should not be more than INR 6 lakhs.
Higher Education Scheme, Gujarat	The students of Class 11, 12 or college pursuing a course in Engineering, Medical, Arts, Ayurveda, Commerce, Science, Law, Postgraduation, Fine Arts, Pharmacy, etc. are eligible. The students must have an annual family income of not more than INR 2.5 lakhs.
Scholarships to SC Students for ITI/Professional Studies, Gujarat	The students belonging to the SC category. The students must be pursuing a professional or ITI course. The students must have an annual family income of less than INR 47,000 (for rural areas) and INR 68,000 (for urban areas).
Swami Vivekanand Stipend Scheme for Technical and Professional Courses (Minority), GujaratS	The students must belong to a minority community. The students must be pursuing a professional or technical course. The students must have an annual family income of not more than INR 1.20 lakh (for rural areas) and INR 1.50 lakhs (for urban areas).
Umbrella Scheme for Education of ST Students Post-Matric Scholarship, Gujarat	The students must belong to the ST category. The students must be studying in Class 11 to postgraduation. The students must have an annual family income of not more than INR 2.5 lakhs. Also – The students pursuing their studies through distance learning are eligible. The student must not be a repeater more than once in the same class.
Scholarships to the Disabled Students, Gujarat	The students having a disability percentage of more than 40% are eligible. The scholarship is applicable for studies from class 1st grade to 12th grade. The annual income of the family should not be more than INR 50,000. The students must have scored at least 40% marks in the last qualified exam. The students must have satisfactory attendance in the previous session.
Post Matric Scholarship of Government of India for the OBC Students, Gujarat	The students must belong to the OBC category. The students must be studying in Class 11 to postgraduation. The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 1 lakh.
Post Matric Scholarship for SC Girl Students, Gujarat	The students must belong to SC category. The students must have an annual family income of less than INR 2.50 lakhs.

Registration Process

1. Visit the official website and Digital Gujarat Scholarship and click on “Login” after which this page will be displayed.

2. First-timers must click on “New Registration (Citizen)” whereas existing users can log in under “Registered User” using their email ID, Aadhaar number, or mobile number.

4. Once the system has saved the information, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the student.

5. The student can enter/copy the OTP and complete the registration process.
