To apply for scholarships at Buddy4Study, students need to upload documents such as mark sheets, academic certificates, income certificates, income proof, Aadhaar cards, disability certificates (if applicable), and the death certificate of a parent (for single parent/orphan candidates).

I wish to link Aadhaar with my DigiLocker, but my mobile number is not updated in my Aadhaar. How can I get this done?

To link your mobile number with Aadhaar, please visit the nearest Aadhaar Kendra. You can find a list of Aadhaar enrollment centres by clicking on the following link: uidai.gov.in/en/ecosystem/enrolment-ecosystem/aadhaar-seva-kendra.html.

I am waiting for the one-time password (OTP), but I have not received it for more than 5 minutes. What should I do?

OTPs are typically sent instantaneously while using DigiLocker. If you haven't received the OTP after 5 minutes, there may be temporary issues with the web servers or the delivery of SMS by the mobile service provider. You are recommended to wait for a few minutes more and attempt again.

I do not have a DigiLocker account yet. Can I still upload my document?

If you do not have a DigiLocker account yet, you can create one in under a minute by heading to digilocker.gov.in. This will allow you to cut short your application time by more than 70% and get your scholarship application processed on a priority basis.

I frequently get the error message 'Aadhaar already registered' during the e-KYC process. What should I do?

It may be that your Aadhaar number is already registered with DigiLocker and you are trying to link it again with your non-Aadhaar account. Please try to log into your DigiLocker account by entering your Aadhaar number. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, which you must submit. In case of issues persisting further, users can write to the concerned authorities with a screenshot of the error.

What are issued documents and uploaded documents?

Issued documents are only electronic documents or e-documents issued by various government agencies in electronic format directly from the original data source. The link to these documents is available in the issued documents section of DigiLocker. Uploaded documents, on the other hand, are those uploaded directly by the users of the DigiLocker platform.
