CUSAT CAT 2026 Exam Pattern
1. CUSAT CAT 2026 is a computer-based test (CBT) with negative marking.
2. Each correct answer is awarded +4 marks, while each incorrect answer carries a -1 penalty.
3. General and SEBC candidates must secure a minimum normalised score of 10 combined across Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to be eligible for the rank list.
4. SC/ST candidates are exempt from this minimum score requirement but must attempt at least one question, failing which they are directly disqualified.

Step 1 – Register on https://admissions.cusat.ac.in/ under the CAT 2026 tab; verify mobile OTP and activate account via email link.
Step 2 – Log in with your registered email ID and password.
Step 3 – Fill in personal details and reservation category (Keralite status, NRI, CGW, etc., as applicable).
Step 4 – Upload photograph and signature as per specified size/format.
Step 5 – Select programme(s) and applicable test code(s).
Step 6 – Review the short preview and correct any errors before confirming.
Step 7 – Pay the application fee online (card/UPI/net banking).
