This is not a prerequisite, however, some particular programs ask for such conditions. One has to go through the particular scholarships to know if they ask for such requirements.
I applied/got interviewed for a scholarship but did not get selected. What could be the possible reasons?
If you were not selected for a scholarship following the interview, it is possible that other prospective scholars outperformed you. This typically occurs when the number of scholarships to be awarded is smaller than the number of applications received. Remember that just fulfilling the eligibility requirements and giving an interview does not guarantee your selection for the award. Ultimately, the decision of selection or rejection is entirely at the discretion of the scholarship provider, and not the Buddy4Study platform. In any case, you must continue to apply for appropriate scholarships without losing heart. Try again and you are bound to succeed.
When will I receive the scholarship benefits ?
There are multiple stages to a scholarship. After the scholarship deadline is over, the applicants are shortlisted and their details are verified thoroughly. The selection process can also include interviews for further consideration. The process of selection and verification usually takes about 30 to 90 days, sometimes even more depending on the number of applicants. You must remain patient until the selection process is over.
I have applied for multiple scholarship opportunities on Buddy4Study, but never received further communication thereafter. Why is this happening?
If you have not received any updates after the selection process is over, you may not have been selected for the scholarships. This is quite usual. Keep on applying for more scholarships until you succeed.
I have been selected for a scholarship but did not receive the benefits even after providing the necessary details. What should I do?
The details of every scholarship applicant have to be checked and verified before providing the benefits to ensure security. Therefore, the applicants must remain patient and wait for the process to be finished.
Is there a notification sent when I am rejected for a scholarship?
Due to the large number of applications, it is not possible to notify every student who has not been selected. Therefore the students must keep applying to eligible opportunities to increase their chances of getting selected.
If the registered contact number is off, is there still a way to receive updates?
The registered number is very important and it must be kept accessible. In case there is a problem, the number must be activated/replaced as soon as possible. The students must also check their spam folders in case they missed any notifications regarding the scholarships.
