New Delhi, 11 October 2021: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has recently invited online applications for its postgraduate scholarship scheme (AICTE – Postgraduate Scholarship) to ensure development of technical education in India. In order to apply for this scholarship, candidates must be full-time GATE/GPAT/CEED qualified and admitted to AICTE approved PG programs in AICTE approved institutions or university departments, as per AICTE approved intake.ย
The last date to apply for the scholarship is December 31, 2021.Selected candidates will be entitled to receive Rs. 12,400 per month for 24 months or for the duration of the course.
What is the Duration of AICTE PG Scholarship 2021-22?
a) The scholarship will be provided to the selected candidates for 24 months or for the duration of the course i.e. from the date of commencement of classes till the date of completion of the classes (whichever is lower).ย
Note: The scholarship is not extendable under any circumstances.ย
b) Students who are in the final year of dual degree integrated programmes would also be entitled to AICTE PG Scholarship from the 9th semester onwards provided they get a CGPA score of 8 or above (on a scale of 10 ) i.e. only for one year in the final year.ย

Who is Eligible for AICTE PG Scholarship 2021-22?ย
AICTE PG Scholarship 2021-22 is entitled only to those students who are:ย
i) Admitted in AICTE approved institutions/university departments and AICTE approved programs like Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Master of Architecture, Master of Pharmacy, and Master of Design.ย
ii) Having a valid GATE/ GPAT/CEED score at the time of admission.
iii) Admitted as full-time scholars in their respective programmes/courses.ย
Note: Students of final years of dual degree integrated programmes would also be entitled to PG Scholarship from the 9th semester onwards in case they get a CGPA score of 8 or above (on a scale of 10 ) i.e. only for one year in the final year.ย
AICTE PG Scholarship 2021-22ย – Other Benefits
Students are eligible for following leave benefits:ย
- Casual leave : 15 days in an academic yearย
- Medical leave : Maximum of one month (30 days) in an academic yearย
- Maternity leave : Candidates are eligible for maternity/paternity leave, as per Government of India norms issued from time to time at full rates of scholarship etc. once during the tenure of their award.ย
