What’s New for the UP Board 10th Exam 2027
1. New practical exam system. According to news reports, Science and Home Science practical exams will be held under a new system for the first time in 2027, and answer sheets will be evaluated online. The board is expected to release the details in its practical exam notice.
2. APAAR ID in registration. UPMSP has asked schools to enter each student’s APAAR ID during online registration. Share your APAAR ID with your school so it’s recorded correctly.
3. Date of birth checks. The board has asked schools to record dates of birth exactly as in school admission records. Check yours with your school, because the date on your certificate is difficult to correct later.
UP Board Class 10 Exam Centre List 2027: Schedule
UPMSP is finalising exam centres for 2027 through an online verification process. The full process runs from September 24 to October 29, 2026.

UP Board Class 10 Practical Exam 2027
Practical exams are held in schools before the theory papers, under CCTV supervision. In 2026, schools conducted the Class 10 practicals in January.
For 2027, the board is expected to announce a new practical exam system for Science and Home Science. We will add the phase-wise schedule once UPMSP releases the official notice.

How Registration Works: Regular Students
1. Students submit their details and exam fee to the school principal.
2. The school deposits the fee in the treasury through a challan.
3. The school uploads each student’s details and fee information on the UPMSP registration portal.
4. The school verifies the uploaded details, and errors can be fixed during the correction window.
5. The school submits the photo-attested candidate list and documents to the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) office.
UPMSP issued a revised registration schedule on September 10, 2026. Ask your school to confirm that your details were uploaded and verified correctly.
How Registration Works: Private Candidates
1. Download the individual application form from upmsp.edu.in and fill in your details.
2. Attach proof of your educational qualification.
3. Pay the exam fee in cash to the principal of the designated forwarding centre.
4. The forwarding centre deposits the fee in the treasury and uploads your details on the board’s portal.

Each subject carries 100 marks: 70 marks for the theory paper and 30 marks for practical work or internal assessment. The 70-mark paper has 50 marks of descriptive questions and 20 marks of objective questions. Question types include multiple-choice, very short answer, short answer, and long answer questions.
