Facts about NMAT by GMAC
The NMAT by GMAC exam for admission session 2018-20 is generally held from October to December 2017. However, the exam for next session is expected to be conducted again in the months from October to December for which the applications may start from July 2018.
It is an online test that comprises 120 questions to be answered in 2-hours.
Candidates can schedule their NMAT by GMAC exam as per their flexibility within specified time duration.
The examination will be conducted at various tests centres across 44 cities within India and four international locations.
A student is allowed to take up to 3 attempts of the examination.
The score of NMAT by GMAC exam is widely acceptable across various business schools in India as well as in Africa.

Syllabus to cover
The computer-based question paper of NMAT by GMAC covers topics from three major sections that include –
Language skills – To test the student’s command over the English language, this section comprises a total of 32 questions for which the time allotted is 22 minutes.
Quantitative skills – Covering the major portion of the paper, this section comprises 48 questions that are required to be answered within a time duration of 60 minutes.
Logical reasoning – This is yet another important section of the exam to test the analytical reasoning of students. It comprises 40 questions that require to be completed in 38 minutes time duration.

After having complete knowledge about the examination and its syllabus, the students can follow the below given approach for studies to score well in NMAT by GMAC examination –
Analyse your strong and weak points and then prepare a well-planned strategy to study.
Hold a command over the basics and keep on revising it.
Practice as much as you can to speed up your performance during the exam.
Evaluate your performance on a regular basis through mock tests.
Try to attend maximum number of questions within the specified time limit.
