Sikkim Scholarship- Eligibility Criteria

Each Sikkim scholarship comes with certain conditions to follow for students. It is mandatory for all the applicants to abide by those conditions. STEP 3- Registration on the portal. (There’s an elaborative registration procedure for all the government scholarships above. Once you register yourself, choose the scholarship that suits your preference and eligibility.)

STEP 4- Fill the application form available after registration. Submit the completely filled application form along with the required documents attached to the application.

Note– It is a one-time registration website, the credentials have to be remembered and can be used again anytime in the future for a follow-up on the scholarship applications.

Offline Application

STEP 1- If in case, the students wish to submit their application through offline mode, they need to print the application form provided on the scholarship portal, which is available to the student after they’ve completed their registration.

STEP 2- Fill up the application form carefully and do not leave any important information blank (Incomplete information on the application may lead to rejection and will be considered the student’s responsibility).

Combined Counselling Board Sikkim Scholarship

The Combined Counselling Board provides a scholarship in higher education in the association with Government approved educational institutions every year. More than 100 leading colleges and courses are available under the CCB scholarship scheme.

For the CCB Sikkim Scholarship application, the following steps need to be replicated:

*students must take printouts of colleges list from the website as soon as they’re available which is any time after the starting of the month of June. Select any college of choice. (The student has 5 days to select his/her college from the list after getting a print of the college’s list from the website)

STEP 2- ‘CLICK’ on the ‘Apply Online’ option visible on the top of the page, which will further take you to a page called ‘Important Information’ and by clicking ‘Apply Now’ option present on the screen in a small blue coloured tab will take you to the application form.

STEP 3- Fill the application form carefully and choose the program that you prefer from the wide list of choices available on the portal. The maximum number of programs allowed to apply are two.

STEP 4- After careful evaluation of the application form and self-declaration, click on ‘Submit Form’ and the application will be submitted.
The Application receipt can be downloaded by clicking on ‘Download Application Receipt’ for future follow-up. You can also download the counselling letter and the allotment letter by simply clicking on the options mentioned on the portal.

  • 100% tuition fee waiver for the school topper
  • 50% tuition fee waiver for the second school topper
10. Sikkim Nationals Scholarship (SRM University- Sikkim)
  • The students nominated by HRDD, the government of Sikkim are eligible for 25% of waiver of tuition fees
  • Students bearing certificate of identification and admitting directly to the university are eligible for 10% of waiver of tuition fees.
