Admission process

International students need to fill an online application form, after getting a reply they need to provide secondary school results, international passport, academic transcript and degree results for postgraduate programs. Once the application is accepted, the institution will send an offer letter within 2-3 weeks. Then students need to pay the tuition fees directly into the chosen institute account. After the tuition fee payment, student will receive the final acceptance letter within 1-4 weeks (depending upon the institution). And finally, students will be required to go to the embassy for further procedure.

Visa procedure

In order to pursue your higher education in Turkey, firstly you need to get admission in a course at one Turkish University. Afterwards, you need to apply for the visa at the nearest Turkish Consulate. For Turkish student visa, you will be requiring the following documents:

1. A copy of letter of acceptance obtained from the Turkish university
2. A complete Turkish student visa application form, obtained from the consulate.
3. A valid passport
4. Processing fee (varies according to the nationality)
5. Passport size photograph

Within a month of arrival, you need to apply for the residence permit, which can be done by approaching the nearest police headquarters. As an international student, you are allowed to work for up to 24 hours per week.
