The applications for Karnataka pre-matric and post-matric scholarships are ongoing at the State Scholarship Portal (SSP). The registration for pre-matric and post-matric scholarships offered by the department of technical education will end on March 31, 2026 and November 30, 2025, respectively.

SSP Login Process 

Step 1: Go to the official website of SSP login at SSP Karnataka and click on the SSP login option (as shown in the image below).

Step 2: Enter your student ID, password and captcha to proceed with the SSP login process.

How to Recover SSP Login Password?

Step 1: Visit the official website of the SSP Karnataka and go to the SSP login page.

Step 2: Navigate to the ‘Forgot Password’ option given at the bottom of the ‘Student Login’ button.

Step 3: Follow the instructions, enter the student ID, and enter a new password. Students who have forgotten their SSP ID can retrieve it by clicking on the ‘Know your SSP ID’ option.

Step 4: Now, click on the ‘Get OTP’ and enter the OTP to change the password.

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
• The annual family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakhs (this limit may vary depending on the specific scholarship scheme).
• For post-matric scholarships, students must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their most recent qualifying examination.
• Open for students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Minority, EWS, and PWD categories.
