  • Students studying in Class 11, Class 12, ITI, Diploma, Graduation, and Post-Graduation in General Fields, Medical, and Engineering are eligible to apply.

Sitaram Jindal Scholarship – Key Documents

The Sitaram Jindal Scholarship requires applicants to submit certain documents to verify their eligibility. Given below are the key documents needed for a successful application.

Academic records

  • Latest exam result, duly sealed and signed by the Principal or Lecturer.
  • Class X mark sheet.
  • If the Class X mark sheet does not mention the date of birth, an additional document as proof of date of birth, sealed and signed by the Principal or Lecturer, must be provided.

Income proof

  • Government-certified document showing the family’s annual income.
  • For PUC & ITI students: Photocopy of the Income Certificate or BPL Card.
  • For employed candidates (annual income up to ₹4 lakh): Salary Certificate issued by the employer.
  • For others (annual income up to ₹2.5 lakh): Photocopy of the Income Certificate issued by a competent state government authority.
  • Income Certificate must be valid, not older than four years, and currently in force.
  • For orphan students: Instead of an Income Certificate, Death Certificates of both parents must be submitted.
  • For widows and wards of ex-servicemen: Any one of the following documents is required:
    • PPO (Pension Payment Order)
    • Ex-Serviceman Widow Card
    • Relation or Dependency Certificate

  • Annexure VII A: Certificate of admission and annual fee details.
  • Annexure IV: Certificate for students residing in college hostels, signed and sealed by the Warden and Principal or Lecturer.
  • Annexure IX: Certificate for students staying in private accommodation or PG, signed and sealed by the owner and Principal or Lecturer.
  • Annexure XI: Declaration stating that the student is not receiving any other scholarships or fee reimbursements from Government or SC/ST/OBC schemes.
  • For physically challenged students: A valid disability certificate issued by competent authorities.

  • A photocopy of the student’s bank passbook.
