“We believe in people’s participation which is very crucial for education transformation. There is no difference in government or private schools. The outcome of education matters at the end,” Javadekar said on the concluding day of a two-day national workshop on School Education being organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy, MHRD.
The HRD minister, who was an active participant on both the days, termed the workshop a huge success.
Talking about the workshop, the union minister said that there was a desire among the participants to do something for the country.
The HRD minister said that the people are contributing to all aspects of Digital Education and it pleases him when he reviews the progress made.
He also assured the participants that the endeavor will be carried forward as education is national agenda and we believe in people’s participation and education transformation.
In the two-day workshop, six groups each consisting 30 to 35 members deliberated on five themes such as Digital education, Life Skill education, Experimental learning, Physical education and Value education.
Upendra Kushwaha, MoS, Department of School Education and Literacy and Dr. Satyapal Singh, MoS, Department of Higher Education, among others, were present on the occasion.
