MPTAAS Scholarship 2023 – Education is everyone’s right. MPTAAS Scholarship 2023 is an initiative to help the underprivileged students of backward classes by providing them financial assistance for their education in school, college and higher studies. Under this scholarship scheme, students are given financial assistance to complete their education. Benefits in the form of financial help starting from INR 230 to INR 1,500 (depending upon the eligibility of the candidate) are directly transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts. However, this scholarship is only for the students who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh.

MPTAAS Scholarship 2023 – Eligibility Criteria

The MP Tribal Welfare Department has laid down an eligibility criteria to make sure that the well-deserving candidates receive the scholarship and related benefits. It is important for all the interested candidates to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the scholarship. The eligibility criteria, as laid down by the MP Tribal Welfare Department, is as follows:

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Madhya Pradesh.
  • The applicant must belong to a Reserved Category such as Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Casts (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) to apply for the scholarship.
  • The applicant must either be in Class 11, 12 or pursuing graduation or PhD at the time of application.
  • The family income of the applicant should not be more than INR 6 Lakh per annum.
  • Applicants whose parents/guardians are employed or not working in any Government Institution are only eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Note: The candidates willing to pursue a career in Engineering or Medical Science are also eligible to apply for the scholarship.
