IIIT Delhi Admission 2026-27 – Cutoff
The official IIIT Delhi B.Tech cutoffs for 2026 (JAC Delhi counselling) are given below as closing JEE Main ranks and IIITD ranks. Two sets of cutoffs are published: “With Bonus” includes bonus marks for Olympiads, programming contests, sports, etc. and “Without Bonus” which is based purely on JEE Main rank. A lower rank number means higher competition. These cutoffs may change with subsequent JAC Delhi rounds still to come.

FAQs – IIIT Delhi Admission 2026-27
Q1. Is IIIT Delhi admission 2026-27 still open for B.Tech?
No, the 2026-27 B.Tech admission cycle has concluded. JAC Delhi counselling ran through Round 3 (July 7, 2026), Round 4 (July 14), an Upgradation Round (July 20-21), and a Spot Round, with the fee payment window closing on July 26, 2026. The separate IIIT Delhi process for B.Tech CSD and CSSS also completed its Spot Round. Prospective applicants should watch for the next admission cycle’s announcement on the official portals.
Q2. What entrance exam is required for IIIT Delhi B.Tech admission?
JEE Main 2026 (Paper-I) is the primary entrance exam for all B.Tech programmes at IIIT Delhi, conducted through JAC Delhi counselling. Additionally, B.Tech CSD has a separate UCEED-based admission route, and B.Tech CSSS has a Class XII marks-based route — both run directly by IIIT Delhi.
Q3. What is the total B.Tech fee at IIIT Delhi for four years?
The approximate four-year B.Tech tuition fee is ₹19-20 lakh (tuition only, excluding hostel and mess). Hostel, mess and other charges are additional. However, IIIT Delhi offers scholarships covering up to 100% tuition waiver for top JEE Main rank-holders and need-based waivers for economically weaker students.
Q4. How does M.Tech admission work at IIIT Delhi without a GATE score?
For M.Tech CSE and ECE, 25% of seats are reserved for non-GATE candidates. Selection is through PGCAT-IIITD (for CSE/CSE-Research) or interview (for ECE), followed by merit-based seat allocation. M.Tech CB admission requires either a GATE score or GAT-B qualification for DBT seats.
Q5. Does IIIT Delhi have a Delhi region quota for B.Tech?
Yes. 85% of B.Tech seats are reserved for Delhi region candidates (those who studied Class 11 and 12 from a recognised school within the NCT of Delhi), and 15% are for outside Delhi candidates. This reservation applies across all B.Tech programmes admitted through JAC Delhi.
