In India there are various engineering entrance examinations such as National Level Engineering Entrance Exams, State Level Engineering Entrance Examinations and University / Institute Specific Engineering Entrance Tests.

To help them know exam and dates, we have compiled a list of all important engineering exams with their key dates.

National level Engineering entrance exams:

Before listing entrance exams list, it is important to understand what national level engineering entrance exams are?

Those examinations that have national level acceptance by different institutes and universities for admission into undergraduate level B.Tech programmes are national level engineering entrance exams. As compared to other engineering entrance tests, the national level exams are more tough to crack with comprehensive syllabus and high competition.

AICTE 2018 Exam: The application procedure starts in 1 March 2018 and ends on 9 April 2018. Tentative exam date is 23 April to 30 April 2018.

BITSAT 2018 Exam: The application procedure ends on 13 March 2018. Tentative exam will be from 16 May to 31 May 2018.

NAT 2018 Exam: The application procedure starts from 15 October 2018 and ends on 2 June 2018. Tentative exam will be on 3 June 2018.

JEE Main 2018: The application procedure starts from 01 December 2017 and ends on 01 January 2018. Tentative exam will be on 15 and 16 April 2018.

State level Engineering entrance examinations:

The name itself clearly states that these are the examinations that are conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered by state level universities and institutions. Some state level engineering entrance exams also requires domicile eligibility to be able to appear for the test.

UPSEE 2018 Exam: The application procedure starts from 23 January 2018 and ends on 15 March 2018. Tentative exam will be in April 2018.

WBJEE 2018 Exam: The application procedure starts from 19 December 2017 and ends on 19 January 2018. Tentative exam will be on 22 April 2018
